learned to read. In 1985, Pizza Hut decided to help create
a passion for reading in children of all ages.
Millions of children have participated in Book
It! over the years and there is current participation in
more than 900,000 classrooms all over the world.
Pizza Hut Philippines is now bringing the
Book It! Reading and Comprehension Program in our very own
country, the first ever in Asian Countries for all grade 1
students as it's never too early to start encouraging our
children to love reading.
Better
Tools Create Better Readers
The Book It! Philippines Reading and Comprehension Program
was established to motivate children in an early stage to
read more and have better comprehension skills. This unique
program is free to classrooms in private schools and allows
teachers to set goals that complement their reading curriculum
and student's reading skills. The program provides teachers
with tips, tools and free reading incentives to keep reading
motivation high.

Filipino children the experience of being recognized with
every reading goal they meet every month by simply loving
to read.
Year 2007 marks as the birth of Book It! Program
in the Philippines. A 6-month reading and comprehension
program for all preschool to grade 3 students in private
